My physical wellbeing would have to rate at a 7 on the
scale. I am in pretty decent shape; however there is always room for
improvement and I have had heart surgery. My spiritual wellbeing would rate at
a 3. I do pray to god on a regular basis; however I do not go to church or any
church functions really. My psychological wellbeing would rate at a 7 as well.
I am pretty mentally sound, but stressful situations really affect me
negatively. It is something I have been working on and there is always room for
improvement.
My physical goal would have to be to eat a healthier diet
due to having a family history of heart problems. A healthier diet with less sodium
consumption will really help my body out. My spiritual goal would have to be to
go to church once a month for a consecutive year. My psychological goal would
be to incorporate distressing activities in to my daily life for a minimum of
three days a week.
An exercise that will help me with the physical portion
would be more cardio. Cardio is good heart training. My spiritual exercise
would be meditation, while praying. It will give me time to clear my thoughts
and focus on the spiritual side of things.my Psychological goal will be engage
in yoga. Yoga is an physical exercise, but it is very calming and relaxing as
well.
I think that this exercise would be more beneficial to me if I did not have a full plate. It was difficult to focus and not let my mind wonder.

Stuart, hope your surgery went well and you are recovering great! Heart surgery can take a toll on both the physical body and the psychological well being. I know two people in my close family that have had open heart surgery and they recall a "dark" time shortly after surgery. The body is an amazing thing don't you think?

Stuart,
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a quick and healthy recovery from your heart surgery!
You seem like you are on a good path to a healthier lifestyle. Physical exercise and a healthy diet (low in sodium) is a wonderful goal to a healthier you. Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that benefits both your emotional well-being and your overall health. Yoga can relieve stress and get you into great physical shape, working the inner and outer body.
Happy blogging!
